Live Results
Unofficial election-night results are distinct from certified results. Sources, observation times and connection status are shown on every feed. Nothing is simulated.
Live results status
The site never fabricates results or treats missing data as zero. When a compliant connector is configured it will validate responses, cache, back off on retry and label partial or stale feeds. Until then, the race maps show "no returns" rather than a tie.

No votes reported. Missing values are never shown as zero.
New York official results
The authoritative election-night source is the New York State Board of Elections live results site (nyenr.elections.ny.gov). Its current availability and whether it allows embedding or an authorized feed are not yet verified, so no frame is shipped. The official source is linked below; once embedding or an authorized feed is confirmed, a native results connector is added here.

Connector requirements
Server-side connector
A Nitro server function with caching, provider-compliant refresh intervals, retry/backoff and schema validation. Credentials stay server-side only.
Authorized data provider
Currently no national feed is connected. The exact dependency is an authorized elections-data provider (e.g. AP Election Feed or a licensed equivalent); no license or key exists yet, so no feed is claimed as connected.
What happens without it
Race and map views correctly show 'no returns / not reporting' instead of fabricating early-vote or expected-vote percentages.
AP & Fox map embeds
Neither AP nor Fox map embedding permission or frame access has been confirmed, and no authorized embed URL exists yet. No non-working or assumed-permission frame is shipped. The native maps remain fully functional; a confirmed authorized embed is added automatically once access exists.
